12 Days of Photo Tips - Day 2

Our 12 Days of photo tips are brought to you by KnK's very own Robin Gibbons!

Using Macro mode.

Almost every digital camera has this mode. Read your manual if you do not know where it is. Turn your macro mode on when you want to take up close pictures and keep the subject in focus. I took this photo on a portrait setting with macro mode. I focused my auto focus square on my sons fingers and snapped. This is just with my point and shoot camera. Using the macro mode can help you get shots of your tree ornaments, christmas cookies and so much more!
